Hi! My name is Tim Laux. I'm an electrical engineer from New Jersey. I made this website as a place to share my projects and anything else that I might find interesting or useful.

I've been interested in electronics and technology for about as long as I can remember. In middle school, I became really interested in computer hardware, and early on in high school, I became obsessed with learning electronics.  I am quite lucky that I became interested in electronics design in tandem with the launch and growth of many popular channels such as EEVBlog, MikesElectricStuff, W2AEW, and others. They made electronics rich and exciting, and motivated me to work on my own projects. I am not self-taught; I am community-taught and I am thankful for all of those who have spent their time helping people like me.

I graduated from The College of New Jersey in 2017 with a Bachelors of Science in Electrical Engineering. I currently work as a design engineer for a company which manufacturers switch-mode power supplies. While this site focuses mainly on electronics, I also really enjoy making music, playing tennis, drawing, painting, and most recently, photography.
